Black Monday has been extended into Thursday, as the Miami Dolphins have let head coach Mike McDaniel go after four seasons and a 35-33 record. Daniels did get a playoff berth after an 11-6 record in his second season, but the team has regressed the last two seasons with 8-9 and 7-10 records and no playoffs. An awful start to the season had McDaniel as an almost guaranteed coaching casualty, but the Dolphins were competitive in the second half of the season and it seemed like McDaniel had a shot at sticking around.
