It feels like Jordan Poole has been sent to NBA Siberia since helping the Golden State Warriors win the 2022 championship. Poole was immediately rewarded with a near-max $140 million extension, then he was punched in the face by Draymond Greene at practice, and traded to the Washington Wizards in Golden State’s short-lived Chris Paul move. After two seasons of playing in obscurity for a tanking team, Poole was traded last summer to the New Orleans Pelicans, another cellar-dweller, and chances are you haven’t heard much about him this season.
