On Friday, Dallas Cowboys star Micah Parsons rocked the NFL world by requesting a trade.
Saturday gave Dallas owner Jerry Jones a chance to respond, and he took advantage of the moment.
Speaking with the media at Cowboys’ training camp, Jones made it clear that while he does not want Dallas fans to “lose sleep” over the contract situation, and that he does not want to trade Parsons, there is also the simple fact that “life does go on.”
“I wouldn’t be standing here with you if I didn’t think we potentially had a great future with Micah. We’re in good shape,” said Jones, as quoted by Jon Machota
