AUSTIN, Texas — Formula 1 has a new home in the United States.
No, the sport has not announced a fourth race in America — at least not yet — but F1 confirmed a long-standing rumor on Friday ahead of the United States Grand Prix, announcing that Apple TV will be the sport’s new broadcast in the United States.
According to the press release, in addition to broadcasting F1 on Apple TV, Apple will “amplify the sport across Apple News, Apple Maps, Apple Music, Apple Sports, and Apple Fitness+.”
