Names are flying off the board in the men’s college basketball transfer portal at a rapid pace. Former Seton Hall big man Najai Hines is now going to the UConn Huskies. Former Penn State guard Kayden Mingo has committed to the Baylor Bears. Louisville has the best portal haul in the country right now with Flory Budinga, Jackson Shelstad, and Karter Knox on board.
The transfer portal has completely changed men’s college basketball, essentially making every player a free agent at the end of each season. Regulation is probably coming down the pipeline, but it’s not here yet, and prices are reportedly skyrocketing 65 percent from this time last year.
