Cam Ward was held without a touchdown pass in his NFL debut last week against the Denver Broncos.
But his first NFL touchdown pass served as a reminder of just why the Tennessee Titans made him the first-overall selection in the 2025 NFL Draft.
The Titans faced a 3rd-and-goal just before halftime against the Los Angeles Rams, with the ball on the Rams’ 9-yard line. As the play began, the Rams dropped seven into coverage, and Ward did not have a quick option available.
