Bruce Pearl was never big on doing things by the book, so why should his retirement be any different?
The 65-year-old Auburn head coach announced Monday — the first day of official practice for Division-I men’s basketball programs across the country — that he was retiring from coaching, and that his son, Steven, would take over as the frontman for Tiger hoops.
