Angels and Mariners Brawl Results in 47 Games of Suspensions

Manager Phil Nevin’s 10-game ban was among 47 games of suspensions the league handed out after Sunday’s brawl between Los Angeles and Seattle.

ANAHEIM, Calif. — Fallout from baseball’s nastiest brawl of the season hit the Los Angeles Angels and the Seattle Mariners swift and hard Monday with 12 uniformed personnel between the two teams receiving a total of 47 games’ worth of suspensions for their actions in Sunday’s spirited melee.
