Aaron Jones injury: Vikings RB returns to Week 16 matchup vs. Giants

Second update: Aaron Jones has returned to the game for the Vikings. Backup Jordan Mason has been ruled out with his ankle injury.

Update: Aaron Jones went to the locker room for further evaluation and has been ruled as questionable to return to Sunday’s game.

Minnesota Vikings running back Aaron Jones has exited the team’s Week 16 matchup vs. the New York Giants with an ankle injury. He entered the blue medical tent and was seen jogging on the sidelines afterwards trying to work through the ailment. Shortly after his exit, backup running back Jordan Mason also suffered an ankle injury and had to be carted to the locker room.
