Scottie Scheffler conquered the American Express in the first stateside event of the season on Tour, and he did so with a Sunday afternoon where he put nothing but distance between himself and the field.
Scheffler missed out on this event last year as he was dealing with a hand injury, but it hardly slowed him down across 2025 as a whole as he would go on to win the PGA Championship and Open Championship.
This victory is officially the earliest one that Scottie has ever had in a season and if that is representative
