Zebra search continues near North Bend after confirmed sighting Tuesday

The last missing zebra was reportedly seen east of Riverbend on Tuesday, but remains on the loose according to King County Animal Control.

RIVERBEND, Wash. — The missing zebra that has captivated the nation over the past few days was spotted Tuesday near North Bend but remains on the loose 4 days after escaping from its owner’s truck.

It all began Sunday afternoon when four zebras managed to get free from a trailer after their owner stopped near Interstate 90 during a journey to Montana. Three of the zebras were eventually corralled, but one ended up eluding authorities.
