A new lawsuit in Seattle claims Amazon used millions of YouTube videos without permission to train its Nova Reel video AI.
SEATTLE — Amazon is facing a proposed class action in federal court in Seattle after three YouTube creators accused the company of scraping millions of copyrighted videos from the platform to train its Nova Reel artificial intelligence model, according to a complaint filed Friday.
The lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington by Ted Entertainment, which operates the h3h3 Productions and H3 Podcast Highlights channels, golf creator Matt Fisher of the MrShortGame Golf channel, and Golfholics.
