TACOMA, Wash. — A Pierce County judge on Friday sentenced Jermell Warren to 63.5 years behind bars for the 2022 shooting death of 39-year-old Angelina Palmer — an innocent bystander killed outside a Spanaway gas station.

He was sentenced to a total of 763 months, or 63.5 years, for second-degree murder and two assault charges. The judge imposed a high-end sentence of 397 months plus 60 months for a firearm enhancement, and for counts two and three — both assault charges — imposed 93
