PULLMAN, Wash. — WSU’s Panhellenic and Interfraternity Executive Councils are ordering a pause on all social events involving alcohol, citing several “safety-related incidents” including falls and substance misuse.
The two councils put out an executive order Wednesday, pausing events until at least March 8. The suspension includes all formals, date functions, exchanges, and registered/unregistered social events where alcohol is present. It does not include chapter meetings, philanthropy or service events, or new member programming.
