OLYMPIA, Wash. — A woman entered a guilty plea Thursday afternoon in connection with a May incident that sparked a cross-state manhunt and a dramatic police chase during which shots were fired at law enforcement.
Americus Wilson pleaded guilty to charges of rendering criminal assistance and attempting to elude police.
According to authorities, Wilson was driving during the chase while her passenger fired an AR-15 rifle at a Thurston County deputy. No one was injured in the incident.
She was arrested when the pursuit near Tenino ended.
