Officers responded around noon to a shooting at an Auburn home, where a woman was pronounced dead.
AUBURN, Wash. — A woman was found dead after a shooting at an Auburn home Friday, according to the Auburn Police Department.
Officers responded around noon to reports of a shooting in the 30300 block of 125th Court SE.
When they arrived, they found an adult woman with at least one gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
A male suspect was taken into custody.
Investigators said they do not believe there is an ongoing threat to the public.
