KING COUNTY, Wash. — A woman running for Mercer Island City Council has been cleared of wrongdoing in connection with the removal of more than 140 trees in Issaquah.
Julie Hsieh was among those named in a $7 million lawsuit filed against several homeowners near Grand Ridge Park by King County. County officials claim the residents illegally cut down 142 trees to improve their views.
