Whatcom County turns to ‘blizzards’ in flood recovery effort

LYNDEN, Wash. — After a pair of rainstorms drenched Whatcom County, the community is turning to blizzards, and other treats, to help expedite flood recovery efforts. 

The Lynden Dairy Queen hosted a fundraiser on Tuesday to benefit Whatcom Strong, a county-wide nonprofit that helps coordinate relief efforts for people impacted by disasters.
