SEATTLE — As the new school year quickly approaches, many students in western Washington are still without the supplies and support they need to succeed in the classroom. Basic school supplies and essential support services, such as mental health resources and classes for caregivers, can make all the difference in a child’s education.
With just a few weeks remaining in summer break, United Way of King County is working to ensure that children are school-ready and that families and communities have the tools they need to foster long-term success through a back-to-school fundraising
