Western Washington among test markets for new Panda Express Buldak-inspired menu item

The item will only be available at select locations until October 7.

TACOMA, Wash. — Five western Washington Panda Express locations will be among a select group of markets testing out a new item over the next few months.

The American Chinese fast-food chain is rolling out its new Dynamite Sweet and Sour Chicken entrée across 10 U.S. metro areas, including five locations in Washington state.

Panda Express says the item is made with Buldak, which it calls the “global No. 1 spicy brand from Samyang.” Originating in South Korea, this U.S. partnership is the first for Buldak with a restaurant brand.
