SEATTLE — A burglar is in custody after police said he broke into a home and fought with the homeowners in West Seattle, who used a frying pan to initially repel the suspect before he was arrested.

The Seattle Police Department said officers were called to the scene at a home on 48th Avenue Southwest early on the morning of March 10 to find a large window broken and the suspected burglar being held down by one of the homeowners with the help of a neighbor.
