Welcome Back Weeks return this fall; encourage visitors to Seattle

The city first introduced Welcome Back Weeks in July, following the state’s full reopening from pandemic restrictions and closures. This time around, masks and proof of vaccination will be required for all participants at each event.

Mayor Jenny Durkan announced this week a series of arts and cultural events hoping to invite more people to the downtown core. The city and partners hope to help downtown small businesses, arts and cultural organizations and creative workers continue to recover from the pandemic.
