The weather was mild when Cora Marsh and Nathaniel Heatherly stopped by a Halloween event at a park. Twenty minutes later, a strong gust of wind came.
ROY, Wash. — Cora Marsh and her boyfriend, Nathaniel Heatherly, weren’t planning to stay long at the Halloween event at McKenna Park in Roy on Saturday afternoon.
They had been running errands in Yelm with Marsh’s son and stopped by the community celebration on their way to another destination. It was their first time attending.
