SEATTLE — Washington officials are actively preparing for the possibility that President Donald Trump deploys the National Guard to Seattle.
Mayor Bruce Harrell expanded on plans in coordination with Washington Attorney General Nick Brown at a Monday morning press conference. Neither have heard of any concrete intention from the Trump administration to deploy the National Guard in Washington state, but Brown said he believes “it is entirely possible” that Trump will attempt to do so.
