Washington ferry crew rescues capsized sailboat passengers

KINGSTON, Wash. — Crews aboard a Washington State Ferries vessel rescued the occupants of a small sailboat that capsized near Kingston on Monday.

The Walla Walla ferry was arriving at the Kingston Ferry terminal about 1 p.m. when crews spotted the sailboat in trouble.

Video taken by a witness aboard the ferry shows what appears to be several people clinging to the sailboat in the water.
