ENUMCLAW, Wash. — Washington’s emergency management officials say the state’s dam system is successfully controlling flood levels while managing pressure on the dams.
As heavy rainfall continues to impact the region, authorities caution residents to remain vigilant with more precipitation expected in the coming days.
The Army Corps of Engineers, responsible for managing water levels at facilities including the Mud Mountain Dam near Enumclaw, adjusted planned releases Tuesday morning after a levee breach in Pacific overnight.
