TUMWATER, Wash. — Let’s Go Washington formally turned in signatures for two initiatives they hope will appear on the 2026 statewide ballot, proposals that reach into some of the most contentious corners of public education.
One measure would revive what supporters call a “Parents’ Bill of Rights,” reversing changes lawmakers made last year and requiring schools to notify parents more clearly and quickly about what is happening with their children.
