Warrant issued for teen who fled scene of crash that killed his girlfriend, police say

PIERCE COUNTY, Wash. — An arrest warrant has been issued for an 18-year-old accused of fleeing the scene of a deadly car crash that killed his girlfriend in Roy in November.

According to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded to a collision in the 33000 block of 8th Ave S. in Roy on Nov. 30, 2023. Deputies found a pink pickup truck in the ditch. The front passenger, a 16-year-old girl, was pronounced dead at the scene. Court documents revealed the victim was dating the driver of the truck, identified as Nikolas Greinke.
