OLYMPIA, Wash. — The Washington State Department of Health (DOH) is warning that its former vaccine hotline phone number has been taken over by scammers.
The DOH posted on Facebook that scammers are using the same phone number as its former hotline to collect personal information and bank account numbers.
The vaccine hotline was implemented near the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, after vaccines became publicly available. Residents would be able to call the number for help on finding
