The suspect in a fatal hit-and-run on I-90 remains out of jail after pleading not guilty, awaiting a possible bail payment by Monday.
SEATTLE — The man charged with hitting and killing a 66-year-old man on I-90 before taking off will remain out of jail — at least for now. The suspect pleaded not guilty Thursday.
The victim’s family told the judge he should never have been behind the wheel in the first place.
“To us, he was a ticking time bomb and the bomb exploded on my family,” said the victim’s brother, Allan Overland.
