SEATAC, Wash. — Up to 162,000 people are expected to pass through the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) on Friday in what is supposed to be the busiest day of the spring travel season.
Crowds were already forming early Friday morning as people departed for their spring break vacations. The spring break travel crowd is expected to be near the size of December holiday travel volumes.
Through the entirety of the spring break travel period, SEA expects 3.18 million passengers to arrive and depart from the airport.
