A Sheriff’s Office traffic deputy processed the suspect for DUI before he was turned over to Monroe detectives.
MONROE, Wash. — Two children were safely reunited with their mother after police say they were kidnapped during a domestic violence incident.
Around midnight Friday, Cle Elum Police and the Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office were contacted by Monroe Police for help locating a suspect wanted on multiple felony charges, including two counts of first-degree kidnapping. Monroe Police believed the man and the children were traveling through the Cle Elum area and requested immediate assistance.
