Seattle police arrested two people after an eight-hour standoff following a shooting incident reportedly targeting a food delivery driver.
SEATTLE — Two people were arrested Saturday night following an eight-hour standoff in Seattle’s Chinatown-International District.
Seattle police said the incident began around 11:50 p.m. when officers responded to the 400 block of 8th Avenue South for reports of a shooting directed toward a food delivery driver.
The suspect reportedly fled into a nearby apartment and officers established a perimeter around the building. The Seattle Police Department’s Hostage Negotiation Team, SWAT and Bellevue Police Department’s SWAT all responded to the scene.
