Tukwila family pleads for return of beloved chihuahua after home burglary

A Tukwila family is seeking help after their black Chihuahua, Cookie, was stolen in a burglary.

TUKWILA, Wash. — Have you seen Cookie the dog? A Tukwila family is desperate for answers after a break-in left them without their cherished pet chihuahua and several personal belongings.

The burglary occurred late last week at a home on 56th Avenue South, near I-5. Police said a suspect, described as a transient woman in her 50s or 60s with blonde hair, is believed to have broken into the residence and stolen cash, gold jewelry, tools, and — most heartbreakingly — a small black Chihuahua named Cookie.
