Millions of disabled and elderly people across the state could have their housing ripped out from under them due to the cuts.
EDMONDS, Wash. — Kimberlee Williams and her husband Steven moved into Edmonds Care as a last resort after getting sick and losing their home three years ago.
The couple, who have been married 33 years, both have serious medical conditions that require daily attention. With no kids to care for them, Medicaid was their only option.
When asked if the couple would be able to live at the facility without the help of Medicaid, Williams said no.
