A truck carrying 80,000 pounds of potatoes crashed on SR 18, blocking traffic near Tiger Mountain. All lanes have reopened.
KING COUNTY, Wash. — All lanes have reopened after a truck carrying 80,000 pounds of potatoes crashed on state Route 18 on Tuesday morning.
Washington State Patrol Trooper Rick Johnson reported the crash just before 9:30 a.m. The truck crashed at milepost 24, which is southeast of Tiger Mountain State Forest.
The scene cleared, and the westbound lanes reopened about 11:30 a.m. Johnson previously said the westbound lanes would need to be shut down once the tow truck arrived to remove the truck.
