With Halloween just around the corner, stores are stocking seasonal department shelves with bags upon bags of candy once again.
Zippia, a career mentorship company, wanted to find each state’s favorite candy. They did so using Google Trends; seeing which states searched for which candy a disproportionately high amount.
Gum was not included in Zippia’s candy list, as well as raisins and fruit snacks. While these treats are not candy, Zippia says they are common in a trick-or-treater’s bag.
In Washington, our favorite candy is Nerds. Our neighbors in Oregon chose 100 Grand Bars and Dum Dums reign supreme in Idaho.
