THURSTON COUNTY, Wash. — A Thurston County resident has died from the flu, according to the Thurston County Public Health and Social Services.
In a news release, the agency said it was notified of the resident’s influenza-related death on Jan. 21.
The Washington State Department of Health has reported 39 lab-confirmed influenza deaths this season, which is five more deaths than this time last season.
