THURSTON COUNTY, Wash. — A Thurston County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) deputy is in the hospital Wednesday after being involved in a rollover crash while responding to a separate collision in Yelm.
Thurston County Sheriff Derek Sanders said the deputy was on the way to a rollover collision when he was involved in a single-car crash. KING 5 went to the scene early Wednesday and arrived to find the deputy’s vehicle being taken away from the scene.
Old Highway 99 was shut down while the collision was cleared.
