Tacoma police release video of man making threats outside WSP trooper’s home

Crime Stoppers of Tacoma-Pierce County has offered a $1,000 reward for information about the suspect.

TACOMA, Wash. — The Tacoma Police Department (TPD) has released video of a man standing outside the front door of a state trooper’s home and making threatening statements with a gun. 

According to TPD, the trooper’s marked Washington State Patrol (WSP) cruiser was parked in the driveway on April 7 when the man walked up to the door. The video shows him standing in front of a doorbell camera before reaching into a jacket pocket and pointing “what appeared to be a firearm at the camera.”
