Prosecutors charged a Tacoma man with luring after police say a girl dropped her bike and ran.
TACOMA, Wash. — A Tacoma man was charged with luring after police say he tried to get an 11-year-old girl on a bicycle into his car near South 74th and G streets.
Pierce County prosecutors charged Sophorm Phal, 43, with one count of luring in connection with the April 8 incident, according to court records.
The charging document says he is accused of attempting to lure a child into his car without the consent of a parent or guardian and that he was unknown to the child.
