TACOMA, Wash. — As Seattle prepares to host six World Cup matches, nearby cities are hoping to capitalize on the surge of people expected to visit the region in June.
In Tacoma, officials aren’t sure how many visitors to expect, but the nonprofit that promotes tourism in Pierce County is ready for a potential boost.
