A suspected DUI driver was seriously hurt after hitting a patrol car that then slammed into a second WSP vehicle on I-5.
CASTLE ROCK, Wash — A suspected DUI driver crashed into two Washington State Patrol vehicles early Friday on northbound Interstate 5 in Cowlitz County, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Troopers were first told at 2:49 a.m. about a semi-truck that had gone off the road and was blocking the left two lanes of northbound I-5 in Castle Rock.
According to the Washington State Patrol, two troopers responded and were blocking the left and middle lanes with their emergency lights on.
