SEATTLE — Authorities have ended an international manhunt for a 19-year-old murder suspect from Des Moines, bringing him back from Africa to face charges in King County after a crime spree that spanned three cities and left one woman dead.
Salman Haji was booked into King County jail on Saturday following his capture in Kenya, where he had fled after allegedly committing a series of crimes on Jan. 26, 2024.
The crime spree began with carjacking just before 9 a.m.
