Alex Matthew Waggoner, found guilty of killing rideshare driver Abdikadir Shariif, was sentenced on Wednesday.
EDMONDS, Wash. — The man found guilty of shooting and killing a rideshare driver in Edmonds in January 2024 was sentenced Wednesday.
Alex Matthew Waggoner was sentenced to 19 years and seven months in prison. He was convicted of murder.
Abdikadir Shariif, 31, was killed in his car near 236th Street Southwest and Edmonds Way on Jan. 3, 2024.
