Suspect pulls knife during Tacoma robbery. This clerk scares him off with an even bigger one.

TACOMA, Wash. — When a Tacoma store clerk was threatened with a knife during a robbery last week, he got the best of the suspect, defending himself with an even bigger knife.

Tacoma Police Department officers responded to the store in the 1100 block of Yakima Avenue on Feb. 5 just before 8 p.m. for reports of a robbery.

The clerk told police that a man entered the store and brandished a knife.
