The break-in at Junction 47 Apartments left emerging artist Tyson Foster heartbroken and pleading for the return of his work worth $3,000.
SEATTLE — This week was supposed to be a milestone moment for Tyson Foster. The West Seattle artist had just debuted his work for the first time as part of the West Seattle Art Walk. His paintings were displayed proudly inside the lobby of Junction 47 Apartments.
But instead of celebrating, he’s now searching for six missing pieces, stolen in the early hours of Saturday morning.
“I was kind of in shock,” Foster said. “I didn’t know what to think.”
