Bob’s Burgers and Brew in Sumas is rebuilding after the fifth major flood in more than 30 years left nearly two feet of water inside.
SUMAS, Wash. — While the waters have receded, flooded businesses in Whatcom County are struggling to keep their heads above water. One restaurant is dealing with its fifth major flood since the building was built 35 years ago.
Tobyn Cochrane is working to rebuild his restaurant and his life.
“Well, right now it means everything. This is where we put our livelihood. This is our future,” Tobyn said.
