One building at a storage facility in University Place was totally destroyed after a fire broke out in a center unit, according to West Pierce Fire and Rescue.
UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. — A building at a University Place storage facility is a “total loss” after a fire broke out early Friday morning.
West Pierce Fire and Rescue crews were called to Prime Storage at around 2:45 a.m. after a fire broke out in a center unit.
When crews arrived, they began attacking the fire from the outside. The blaze was too strong for firefighters to be able to enter any of the units.
