Deputies towed the suspect’s vehicle after spotting unopened LEGO sets, clothing with security tags, and other potentially stolen items inside.
PUYALLUP, Wash. — A pair of stolen Nike shoes led Pierce County deputies to a suspect allegedly connected to a string of vehicle prowls in Puyallup’s Gem Heights neighborhood.
Deputies responded around 12:30 a.m. on Oct. 28th after a resident reported their shoes stolen from their porch. Multiple callers also reported vehicle prowls on the same street that night.
Deputies spotted a white vehicle speeding recklessly out of the neighborhood and attempted a traffic stop, but the driver fled. Deputies later found the vehicle
